Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using adastrahpa.com or any services offered by Ad Astra Human Performance Acupuncture, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or book our services.


About Our Services

Ad Astra Human Performance Acupuncture offers licensed acupuncture care, mobile treatment services, cupping, and related wellness services in San Diego County, California. Our services are provided by Dr. Chyrie Ramirez, D.A.C.M., L.Ac., a licensed acupuncturist in the State of California.

Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older unless a parent or legal guardian provides written consent for a minor.


Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

The information on this website and the services we provide are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are complementary healthcare practices. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any specific condition.

Appointments & Cancellations

Booking Appointments may be booked through our online scheduling platform or by contacting us directly. Booking an appointment constitutes an agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation Policy We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Details are provided at the time of booking.

Right to Refuse Service Ad Astra Human Performance Acupuncture reserves the right to decline or discontinue services at our professional discretion, including in situations where treatment may not be appropriate or safe.

Mobile Services

Our signature Mission Recovery Session is offered as a mobile service within San Diego County. When receiving mobile services, you agree to provide a safe, reasonably private, and accessible treatment space. We reserve the right to cancel a mobile appointment if the location is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival, with no cancellation fee charged to you in that circumstance.


Payments & Fees

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept payment via the methods listed on our website. All fees are subject to change; current pricing is listed at adastrahpa.com.

We are not currently paneled with insurance. Clients are responsible for all fees. A superbill may be available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement — please ask at the time of booking.


Health Intake & Informed Consent

Prior to your first treatment, you will be asked to complete a health intake form and provide informed consent. You agree to provide accurate and complete health information. Withholding relevant health history may affect the safety and effectiveness of your care, and Ad Astra Human Performance Acupuncture is not liable for adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.
